Senior Delivery Manager (Insurance experience)

As insurance and tech veterans, we build the most advanced AI-based claims platform, enabling insurance companies to provide their customers with the trust and experience they deserve.</p><p><strong>We are looking for a Senior delivery manager to join our growing team - THIS IS A REMOTE WORK (AUS)</strong></p><p>In this role, you will be responsible for launching new customers on Five Sigma’s SaaS platform and maintaining the ongoing health of existing customers. The Delivery Manager works with customers to configure initial solutions and review the primary settings and functionalities of our platform and applications.</p><p>You will manage delivery projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they meet scope, time, and budget expectations. This includes managing complex projects or smaller programs that require coordination between customer teams, internal Five Sigma development and product teams, and third-party System Integration (SI) partners.</p><p>Day-to-day activities include hosting kick-off calls to coordinate, plan, and measure client implementations, ensuring clients are on track with onboarding. This may involve traveling to meet clients, engaging with their teams, understanding and documenting their business and technical requirements, managing the platform implementation, and transitioning the client to the Customer Support and Business-as-Usual (BAU) phase.</p><p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct project planning and manage the execution of large-scale, high-risk, or strategic projects from initiation to successful go-live, ensuring they meet scope, time, and budget.</li><li>Evaluate complex situations accurately and identify viable solutions for successful customer outcomes.</li><li>Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them informed to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.</li><li>Ensure proper use of methodologies, tools, and procedures.</li><li>Analyze risks, establish contingency plans, and identify trigger events for initiating mitigating actions.</li><li>Collaborate with the Professional Services (PS) team to ensure successful customization and integration of our platform according to client requirements</li><li>Build trust with clients by understanding their organization, processes, team members, and desired outcomes.</li><li>Collaborate with clients' internal and external teams to understand operational and technical project requirements.</li><li>Ensure timely and successful project completion and transition to the customer support and BAU phase.</li><li>Work with customers to create end-user training and establish support channels for go-live and post-production support.</li><li>Plan and manage project resource allocation with relevant internal departments.</li><li>Provide technical, business consulting, and product expertise to enable comprehensive implementations and solutions.</li><li>Configure product features to meet customer needs within contractual constraints or identify change requests when necessary.</li><li>Identify use cases, roles, and other business requirements for each implementation.</li></ul> <br><h3>Requirements</h3> <ul><li>Possesses deep subject matter expertise in Property & Casualty insurance within Australia, with experience in claims a significant benefit - A MUST</li><li>Minimum 4 years of project management experience in Tech SaaS companies. Insurtech companies- A MUST</li><li>Proficiency in project management processes including task planning, resource allocation, risk management, time management, financial management, quality management, monitoring and reporting, documentation, and record keeping.</li><li>Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse teams and communicate clearly with senior management, clients, peers, and team members.</li><li>Strong technical background and understanding.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with multiple stakeholders.</li><li>Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.</li><li>Experience writing functional (business and technical) requirements.</li><li>Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs within the scope of the project and statement of work.</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams within a formalized methodology.</li><li>PMP certification and/or other industry and project management certifications are an added benefit.</li></ul>
