We’re looking for a Business Compliance Manager to act as a first-line compliance partner to our business teams (non-retail). This is a hands-on role where you’ll help shape how products go live, balancing regulatory requirements with speed, innovation, and customer outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Advising product and business teams on EU business banking and payments regulations (e.g., PSD2/3, AML/UBO, deposits, distance marketing)
  • Supporting new initiatives through NIAPs, product launches, and multi-market EU rollouts
  • Reviewing and approving business customer communications and marketing materials
  • Owning post-launch product reviews and ensuring regulatory decisions are documented and defensible
  • Translating evolving regulation into clear, product-ready requirements
  • Conducting horizon scanning and supporting BAU compliance activities, including KRIs, BCIs, and policy updates
  • Enabling the business by proposing pragmatic, compliant solutions
What you'll need
  • 4+ years of experience in first-line compliance within business banking, payments, or fintech
  • Practical experience applying EU regulations (e.g., PSD2/3, xbhjioe AML/UBO, deposits, distance marketing) to live products
  • A product-focused, customer-centric mindset to work closely with product and business teams under tight timeframes
  • Sound judgement and confidence to challenge constructively, balancing risk, speed, and customer impact
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to translate regulations into pragmatic, product-ready solutions
  • Exposure to multi-market EU environments
