We are looking for someone who can support the schools and wider community, develop learning and teaching, and ensure that all pupils achieve their full potential. You must be committed, passionate and well qualified. We will support you to inspire the learning of our children and young people.</p> <p><br />In addition to the range of teaching and other duties outlined in the job specification, we are looking for individuals who enjoy working collegiately with colleagues and who have a firm commitment to improving outcomes for Glasgow’s young people.<br />Full registration is required in PE and Dance. To teach Dance, the SQA states that “teachers delivering/assessing Dance must have completed at least two years’<br />successful study of dance to a minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) level (SCQF level 8), or have extensive knowledge in dance supported by vocational and teaching qualifications through accredited dance awarding bodies. It would also be beneficial if staff have, or are working towards, assessor qualifications, or are GTC registered.”<br />Applicants will be asked to provide evidence of their qualification to teach Dance.</p> <p> </p> <p>In line with section 21(2A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980 the successful candidate for this post will require RC Approval for denominational school.</p>Application Packs<p>We want everyone to be able to apply.
