Harry Potter Shop Oxford Street sits alongside world-class attractions and retail experiences including Warner Bros Studio Tour London, Warner Bros Studio Tour Tokyo, Harry Potter Shop King’s Cross, and Flagship stores in New York, Chicago and Harajuku.As Senior Visual Merchandiser, you will shape and lead the visual direction of the store, bringing together commercial insight, creativity and customer focus to maximise sales. You will guide and develop a visual team, ensure brand standards are consistently delivered, and partner closely with Retail and Visual leadership to drive performance across key trading locations.This is a hands‑on supervisory role with visibility across the wider business, offering the opportunity to influence strategy, coach talent and deliver high‑impact visual execution in a fast‑paced retail environment.Your Role Accountabilities…Lead, coach and develop the Visual Merchandising team through regular feedback, 1:1s and on‑floor guidance, ensuring strong visual standards and team engagement.Deliver high‑quality visual merchandising across the store, ensuring all graphics, equipment and POS are implemented in line with brand guidelines.Partner with the Area Visual Manager and wider Retail teams to plan and deliver visual strategies that maximise sales and commercial performance.Prioritise and delegate workload effectively to meet operational needs, key trading priorities and visual deadlines.Maintain strong commercial awareness, using sales reports and store insights to adapt layouts and visual activity to exceed targets.Support training and capability building across the store team, building awareness of visual and promotional standards.Act as a point of escalation for visual merchandising queries, providing solutions and practical problem‑solving.Oversee presentation, housekeeping and minor maintenance standards to ensure a safe, customer‑ready environment.Contribute to store planning, operational meetings and wider visual activity across the business as required.Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures, stock control requirements and loss‑prevention practices.Qualifications & Experience…Proven experience in visual merchandising at senior or supervisory level, with a strong eye for detail.Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams in a retail environment.Creative and commercially minded, with a clear understanding of brand guidelines and customer impact.Confident communicator, able to work effectively with store management, peers and customers.Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve sales, standards and ways of working.Comfortable working independently, while collaborating as part of a wider retail and visual team.Flexible approach to working patterns, including multi‑site support, evenings, weekends and overnight installs when required.Proficient PC skills and confidence using reporting or planning tools.Working Pattern…Because of the adaptive nature of this role, flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business, with the position primarily based at our Oxford Street store and regular support required at our Kings Cross location.Roles within the retail team may include, interacting with customers and replenishing our shelves. On occasion, all members of the team will need to work across all these functions at different times.Participate in cover of the retail stores as necessary including weekend, bank holiday, school holiday and late evening/ cover in rotation with other team members. Overnights will also be required for new season/range turnaround and window installs.#T&ROnsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
