# Civil Enforcement officer - Sleaford - Seasonal Contract## Job IntroductionAdvertising on behalf of our partners APCOA**Summer Civil Enforcement Officer - Sleaford - Full-Time; 45 hours per week - 1st April-31st October 2026 - £12.71 per hour****£12.71 per hour PLUS £1,000\* retention bonus. \*See below for full details regarding shifts and T&C's for retention bonus\***We are actively recruiting for Civil Enforcement Officers in Sleaford on a fixed term contract running until 31st October 2026 with a view to becoming permanent.**Responsibilities.*** You will be responsible for ensuring that all drivers follow parking policies on public streets and in car parks.* You will ensure emergency vehicle access is not blocked, and the road is safe for all members of the public!Civil Enforcement Officers patrol public streets and local council car parks to ensure that car parking regulations are being followed. You would issue Penalty Charge Notices, report defective signs and road markings, identify and report abandoned vehicles, and advise motorists where required.* Excellent customer service and communication skills with an appropriate level of English.* A desire to work outdoors as you could be walking quite long distances in all weathers on patrol.* A full UK clean drivers’ licence is essential as this will make you deployable to other enforceable locations in one of our company vehicles.* Full Uniform* One late shift per week will be 11.30 – 21.30 the other 4 shifts will be daytime hours notified in advance.* £12.71 hourly rate | 45 hours per weekRetention Bonus Terms & Conditions: There will be a £1,000\* retention bonus paid at the end of your employment subject to the following criteria:* You do not leave the role prior to the end of the fixed term contract.* You have no, or minimal absence during this time.If a permanent contract is offered to you at the end of the fixed term you will no longer be qualified for the retention bonus.
