About the Role

The Vice President, Investor Relations is a senior finance and communications leader responsible for shaping and delivering the company's investor relations strategy. KDP is proceeding towards a spin-off of its global coffee business ("Global Coffee Co" pending its official naming). This role will lead Global Coffee Co.'s equity market debut as a newly created public company and will serve as the primary interface between the company and the investment community, ensuring clear, consistent, and credible communication of the company's strategy, performance, and long-term value creation story.

The VP, Investor Relations partners closely with the CEO, CFO, Accounting, Commercial, Corporate Communications, FP&A, Treasury and Legal teams as well as with members of the Wall Street community. This is a highly visible role with regular interaction with senior leadership, the Board of Directors, and external audiences.

What You'll Do

Investor Relations Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute a best-in-class investor relations strategy aligned with Global Coffee Co.'s business objectives, capital allocation priorities, and long-term growth agenda.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and CFO on investor sentiment, market expectations, and external perceptions of the company.
  • Reinforce credibility and trust with the investment community through consistent, proactive, and transparent communication.
External Engagement & Market Interface
  • Develop and broaden shareholder base through comprehensive targeting effort to prospective investors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for institutional investors and sellside analysts, managing ongoing dialogue and relationship development.
  • Lead preparation for and participation in earnings calls, investor conferences, nondeal roadshows, one-on-one investor meetings, and analyst days.
  • Monitor investor feedback, peer performance, and market trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Support Treasury with rating agency relationship management.
Financial Messaging, Storytelling & Disclosure
  • Own the development and articulation of Global Coffee Co.'s equity story, including strategy, financial performance, growth drivers, and capital allocation philosophy.
  • Partner with FP&A and broader Finance to translate financial results, outlook, and key performance indicators into clear, compelling investor messaging.
  • Oversee the preparation of investor facing materials, including earnings scripts, presentations, fact sheets, and shareholder communications.
Earnings, Guidance & Capital Markets Support
  • Lead investor relations execution for quarterly earnings and annual reporting cycles, ensuring alignment across Finance, Legal, and Communications.
  • Support capital markets activities as needed, including equity or debt offerings, credit rating engagements, and M&A related investor communications.
  • Partner with Legal to ensure compliance with SEC regulations, Reg FD, and disclosure controls.
Executive, Board & Internal Partnership
  • Prepare leadership for investor interactions through briefings, Q&A preparation, and messaging alignment.
  • Provide regular updates to the Board of Directors on shareholder base, investor sentiment, and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure consistent messaging across investor, media, and internal communications.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
  • Build, lead, and develop a high performing investor relations team, fostering strong financial acumen, communication skills, and business partnership.
  • Establish best in class IR processes, analytics, and tools to support decision making and continuous improvement.


Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $ 218,800 - $310,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
  • 12-15+ years of progressive experience across investor relations, corporate finance, FP&A, equity research, investment banking, or strategy, with CPG, food & beverage, or consumer sector experience, particularly in multinationals, shown as a strong advantage.
  • Deep understanding of capital markets, valuation frameworks, financial statements, and investor expectations.
  • Proven experience leading earnings processes and engaging directly with senior executives, investors, and analysts.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex financial and strategic information into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience operating in a U.S. listed public company, highly regulated environment, with strong judgment and attention to disclosure requirements.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the confidence to challenge, influence, and advise at the highest levels
