We are looking for Logistics professionals to join our Metrology team and assume the role of Metrology RMA & Remote Site Logistics Rep. You'll work with Metrology Engineers, Calibration Coordinators, and Factory Managers and find opportunities to learn and grow in your career. You will focus on maintaining Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) uptime by expediting the movement of equipment through the calibration process, ensuring the factories can deliver product on time and to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Follows user guides and requests to status and sticker M&TE.
  • Keeps customers informed of M&TE status information through Recall database and other media.
  • Answers customer questions and concerns regarding M&TE calibration status.
  • Coordinates vendor onsite calibration.
  • Contacts vendors and coordinates the outsourcing of vendor calibrated equipment.
  • Processes and route New M&TE to the point of use.
  • Works with Asset Management and Gov/Prop Management to facilitate the disposition, tagging, deployment, storage, and redeployment of M&TE.
  • Maintains an effective working relationship with supervisors and engineers so that calibration compliance can be satisfied.
  • Assists in preparing purchase order requisitions and track requests from initiation through delivery.
  • Maintains various files for calibration compliance, cost data, calibration recall programs, etc.
  • Notifies supervisor of any difficulties or delays, which may affect schedules.
  • Follows up with vendors to obtain status of equipment and expedite as required.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
  • RMA (Return Material Authorization) Coordinators are responsible for managing the process of routing Test Equipment to vendors or manufacturers for repair, maintenance, or calibration. Their key responsibilities include obtaining RMA numbers from vendors, tracking and managing the status of equipment sent out for service, coordinating with vendors to resolve issues and provide documentation, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of RMA requests, equipment status, and documenting all vendor communications in the MetTrack Database.
  • They troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RMA requests by communicating with vendors and members of the Metrology Organization to ensure agreed turnaround times and requested services are satisfied. RMA Coordinators provide regular reports on RMA activity, equipment downtime, and vendor performance to management. Additionally, the RMA Coordinator identifies areas for process improvement and implements changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. They also ensure compliance to company policies and vendor requirements, and collaborate with other teams, such as logistics, engineering, and support services, to ensure smooth processing of RMA requests.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Associates Degree in related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics
  • Experience using Calibration recall Database's such as MetTeam
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Possess interpersonal skills involving coordinating with customers and suppliers
  • Be able to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75998 - $121597

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
