Responsibilities

  • Safely secure all freight packages and delivery items.
  • Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
  • Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to ensure punctual arrivals at multiple destinations.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports throughout your shift.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery schedules and address any issues promptly.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies during route driving to promote a safe working environment.

Skills

  • Proven experience in delivery driving or truck driving roles within a commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of route planning, load & unload procedures, and freight handling techniques.
  • Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation laws.
  • Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or using equipment as needed; capable of lifting heavy items when required.   • Van Type A (Standard Cargo Van).
  • Van Type B (High Roof Cargo Van)

B. Condition

  • Vans must be white and unbranded.
  • Vans must maintain a professional appearance and meet Walmart's standards for good condition, including a clean, well-maintained exterior with no major dents or scratches.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $215.00 - $230.00 per day
