Casual Academy Scout (Midlands)

The National Academy scouting team is responsible for identifying and monitoring players either from grassroots or other Academies in national regions. They will complete reports on players and share information with other Academy staff to develop a range of player intelligence across the local area. <br><br>There is a particular interest for us to recruit within the following teams: <br>- Grassroots – Midlands <br>- Academy- Midlands <strong><em>The Casual Academy Scout (Midlands) must have:</em></strong><br id="isPasted">• Knowledge and networks within the local area they scout.<br>• Previous experience scouting for another Academy (Cat 1, 2 or 3)<br>• FA Talent ID Level 2<br>• FA Safeguarding<br><br><strong><em>Ideally, the Casual Academy Scout (Midlands) will:</em></strong><br>• Previous experience scouting for another Cat 1 Academy.<br>• FA Level 2 Coaching<br>• Full Driver’s License <strong id="isPasted"><em>The following is a non-exhaustive list of the responsibilities of the role:</em></strong><br>• To manage your individual weekend schedule and regularly attend fixtures within your region or<br>across your phase.<br>• To complete reports on players all players with potential across your region and phase.<br>• Network with other national scouts to share information on potential target players.<br>• To keep National and department Managers informed of high potential players across their area or<br>age phase.<br>• To support with the ongoing communication to the families of players within our TID programmes<br>and on trial as and when required.<br>• To support the delivery of Talent ID programmes and events as and when required.<br>• Participate in scouting team meetings to further discuss succession planning and their identified<br>target players.<br>• To attend department meetings and participate in all CPD and required safeguarding training when<br>appropriate.
