Then you might be a perfect fit for our open Territory Manager position (Home Improvement Segment) at Sashco. HI Territory Managers (TMs) are accountable for leveraging Sashco’s value proposition including our high-performance positioning, merchandising collateral, marketing, and promotional programs to increase placement and sell-through of our brands through both existing and new customers in the channels we serve; in this case within the Mid-Atlantic territory encompassing the following states: MD, NJ, VA, DE, WV, NC and SC. As a TM at Sashco, you will join a talented team of high-performers as passionate about your success as they are their own. You will enjoy considerable autonomy but are also accountable for your piece of the plan, the execution of which will require about 75% of your work time to be spent on the road – away from home. Rewards for success can be significant! In your first six months you will: · Start by being a sponge. We provide a robust onboard and training program to help you learn about customers, systems, processes, and our products. This will be a mix of in-person, virtual and in the field w/ manager and / or peers. · Upon completion of onboard and initial training, continue working from “proficiency” to “mastery” of TM skills. · Assume ownership of territory and assigned direct accounts · Attend industry events, buying markets aligned with strategic plan · Get to know the team. Integrate with the sales & marketing team with whom you will interface the most in addition to getting to know other teams within Sashco. QualificationsWe want to hear from you if you: · Possess 2-3 years of outside sales / territory management experience · Possess a BS / BA in Business or related field - We will consider additional years of industry experience in lieu of Bachelors degree. · Possess a clean driving record · Have CRM experience · Possess technology proficiency: Smart phone and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) at a minimum · Can communicate effectively demonstrating tact, empathy, and respect. · Possess strong attention to detail for CRM maintenance, orders, and reports Bonus points for you if you have: · Channel experience and existing relationships (hardware, lumber, building materials) · Salesforce experience · Advanced Excel acumen · Passion for home improvement projects. In the lumberyard, hardware or improvement store almost every weekend! · Experience with lean and / or process improvement methods · Formal Sales Training (especially Challenger)
