Job Summary The Senior Specialist on our Indirect Procurement team will be responsible for executing the purchasing activities across Indirect categories, with a heavy focus on IT purchasing. This role partners closely with internal business stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely, accurate processing of materials and services while maintaining strict compliance with company standards, SOX requirements, and procurement best practices.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the end-to-end process for creating and issuing purchase orders using appropriate company methodologies and technology
  • Monitor and communicate order information to requesters (confirmations, tracking, POD, delays, etc.); identify urgent orders and escalate as needed
  • Coordinate with Category Managers to ensure suppliers are meeting the needs of corporate and restaurant teams
  • Organize, maintain and file procurement documentation to support audit readiness and SOX compliance
  • Ensure Oracle product and pricing catalogs remain accurate by working directly with Category Managers and suppliers
  • Provide updates to Supply Chain leadership on day-to-day purchasing activity, trends, and key initiatives (PO activity, monthly reports, etc.)
  • Support the execution, routing and tracking of Statements of Work (SOWs), Order Forms, NDAs, and other procurement?related documents
  • Assist with supplier onboarding, including vendor setup, documentation collection, and coordination with internal teams
  • Lead multiple purchasing-related projects and product execution activities
  • Resolve issues quickly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for internal partners and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with Brinker's Code of Business Conduct in all supplier interactions
What You Bring to the Team
  • 1-3+ years of supply chain or procurement experience
  • Familiarity with IT purchasing preferred, but not required
  • A self-starter mindset with strong customer service orientation; able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP system strongly preferred
