Our company’s organic growth and acquisitive growth strategies require a successful Senior HR Business Partner to have a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects to identify and address hidden issues that may impede the company’s success.</p> <p>Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to effectively interact with employees at all levels and to positively influence organizational and/or regional outcomes. As part of a quickly growing company, the Senior HR Business Partner also acts as a partner in successful employee acquisition and integration and<span> works closely with the HR team which includes the Recruiting team to support and execute the HR hiring, development and retention strategies.</span><span> </span></p> <p><strong>Primary Function</strong></p> <p>This role will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer or Regional HRBP Lead leading our people and culture priorities for a region within the Ardurra firm-wide organization. The Senior HR Business Partner collaborates with the HR team and executes initiatives and deliverables that nurture our talent and our business objectives.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional services or engineering, architectural and construction organization and will be energized by the talented individuals who make up our entrepreneurial workforce. Someone who thrives being a part of a dynamic, high-performing team that embraces change, values innovation, and works collaboratively to deliver results.</p> <p><span><strong>Primary Duties</strong></span><span> </span></p> <ul> <li><strong>Communication</strong>: Work closely with employees and represent an approachable advocacy for employees and thoughtful trusted partnership with leaders and managers</li> <li><strong>Coordination</strong>: Coordinate effectively with the CHRO, and Director, Talent and HR Operations, and with Regional leadership to develop and implement strategies that support both long-term and short-term organizational goals</li> <li><strong>HR Collaboration</strong>: Work closely with HR team members and employees to ensure quality talent attraction, retention, and development in coordination and partnership with leadership and HR Recruiting team. This includes carrying out or supporting front line HR functions such as talent acquisition support, onboarding, employee performance management, benefits and leave support, learning, career development, succession planning, as well as ensuring accurate employee data transactions</li> <li><strong>Consultation and Mentorship</strong>: Build effective partnerships and relationships with business leaders and employees to translate business requirements into effective HR solutions that solve problems and that may become initiatives and programs</li> <li><strong>Performance Analysis</strong>: Analyze regional performance metrics, including employee retention and experience data, to identify areas for improvement and drive enhancements</li> <li><strong>Issue Resolution</strong>: Collaborate with HR and other department managers to address and resolve employee relations issues</li> <li><strong>Employee Integrations</strong>: Participates in and at times leads acquisition support and new business integration activities in collaboration with other HR team members</li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Education and Experience Requirements</strong></span><span> </span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent experience</li> <li>8+ years of experience in Human Resources, with significant experience in senior HR roles such as HR Manager or Generalist</li> <li>Experience in applying exceptional mentorship, coaching, project management, and time management skills</li> <li>Experience with sensitive and confidential information while maintaining strict confidentiality</li> <li>Working knowledge of HR Systems (HRIS), creating and using spreadsheets (Excel), and having an “eye for detail”</li> <li>Understanding of labor laws and regulations at both the state and federal level laws</li> <li>Experience in complex and technical work environments</li> <li>Excellent verbal, non-verbal and facilitation communication skills</li> <li>If based remotely, must have the ability to travel and work in the office as needed with flexibility to work extended hours for projects</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certified HR professional preferred</li> <li>Demonstrated professional maturity in dealing with variety of employee relations situations</li> <li>Ability to participate in or lead acquisition support activities</li> <li>Experience integrating employees into existing or new operating structures successfully</li> <li>Experience facilitating new hire orientation and other trainings as needed and/or partnering with HR team on understanding training needs within the business</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to apply coaching and counseling skills</li> <li>Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to successfully multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy</li> <li>Passion for learning about competitors and applying insights to inform HR recommendations for our business</li> <li>Must prefer to be on a “winning team” with an entrepreneurial mindset as opposed to a comfortable routine that never changes</li> <li>Willingness to travel as needed</li> <li>The right candidate could be located to work remotely with light travel needs</li> </ul>
