This role partners with Fortruem Account Executives (AEs) and Enterprise Account Executives (EAEs) to validate client needs against Fortreum’s capabilities, owning the Scoping and Technical Validation stages. They ensure that every proposal is technically sound, scoped for margin integrity, and aligned with our Delivery standards.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Technical Discovery: Lead deep-dive scoping sessions during the Consideration stage to translate client pain points into specific service requirements (hours, timeline, resources).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proposal Architecture: Review technical Statements of Work (SOWs) and collaborate with Delivery Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate pricing margins before submission.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Methodology Defense: Defend the technical approach during BAFO (Best and Final Offer) presentations and Information Security reviews.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Win Rate Optimization: Increase the Technical Win Rate by providing AEs with "technical air cover" on complex regulatory topics (FedRAMP, HITRUST, CMMC).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Product Feedback: Feed market requirements back to the Delivery team to refine service offerings based on client demand trends.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Platform Demonstrations: Lead compelling technical demonstrations of the XRAMP Platform, visualizing for the client how Continuous Assessment technologies reduce their administrative burden and risk profile.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Multi-Disciplinary Scoping: Expertly scope diverse engagements ranging from GRC Audits & Consulting to Technical Testing (Red Teaming, Penetration Testing, Executive Cyber Hygiene), ensuring the technical boundaries are clearly defined in the SOW.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Methodology Defense: Articulate the technical nuances of Continuous Testing architectures and how XRAMP integrates with client environments to automate evidence collection.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p></li></ul><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">7-12+ years in pre-sales engineering or technical consulting in cybersecurity.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Deep expertise in compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong writing skills for creating detailed SOWs and RFP responses.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency in demonstrating SaaS/GRC platforms and explaining API-driven continuous monitoring concepts.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Technical familiarity with offensive security methodologies (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK framework) to support the scoping of Red Teaming and Pen Testing opportunities.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>Posted Salary Range</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">$140,000 - $170,000 base OTE $190,000 - $240,000</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><br><strong>What Fortreum Offers</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We offer a competitive compensation package, where you will be rewarded based on your performance/outcomes and recognized for the value you bring to our business.
