Senior Recruiter

As a Senior Recruiter, you will partner with the Business Financial Services line of business to recommend qualified candidates for employment. You will play a key role in helping build the workforce.

Position: Senior Recruiter
Competitive salary
Hybrid role: 4 days office, 1 day remote
Location: Toronto, ON
12 month contract with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities
•Provide consultative recruitment support to hiring managers by developing and maintaining working relationships to understand current and future recruitment needs.
•Independently generate candidate flow through a variety of sourcing channels, including: internal postings, Internet recruiting, proactive networking, employee referral, campus recruitment, job fairs and initiating other channels as appropriate.
•Identify appropriate sources and work with these sources to attract qualified candidates.
•Educate, consult and transfer knowledge of staffing processes, diversity, interviewing skills and legislation to hiring managers.
•Screen resumes and/or conduct telephone interviews to ensure candidates meet recruitment criteria.
•Leverage behavioral interviewing techniques, conduct interviews, provide support and counsel to hiring managers throughout the interviewing process; gather and provide feedback/recommendations to both the candidate and hiring manager, regarding strengths and development needs of the candidate to determine and select the most qualified candidate.
•Manage information and recruitment process through the Applicant Tracking System (Workday). Ensure that all information is current and activity is updated on a regular basis.
•Participate in special staffing oriented projects as required.



Qualifications
Must-have:

•Strong relationship building skills and proven ability to provide value added consultative service.
•Results oriented mind set with a sense of urgency; multi-tasking skills.
•Must have strong sourcing, networking, and lead generation skills to locate candidates with difficult to find skill sets in local and other markets.
•Keen attention to detail

Nice-to-haves:
•Bilingualism (English and French)
•Relationship Manager, Business Markets and/or Relation Manager, Commercial Financial Services experience
•Experience recruiting for banking or retail is preferred
•Proven experience generating reports using Excel
•Experience working with e-Recruitment tools and behavioral based Interview techniques.
•Experience in the full life-cycle recruitment experience
