From groundwater resources to contamination and remediation, we are delivering projects that genuinely matter, and we are looking for an experienced hydrogeologist who wants to be part of that story.<br>If you have built a solid career in hydrogeology and you are ready for a role where your expertise shapes real outcomes, this could be the move you have been waiting for.<br>ABOUT THE ROLE<br>We are recruiting a Senior or Principal Hydrogeologist to join our UK water team, with flexibility to be based from any of our offices, including Reading, High Wycombe, Shrewsbury, Birmingham, Glasgow or Edinburgh.<br>You will work across a varied portfolio of hydrogeological and environmental projects, contributing your skills to multidisciplinary teams serving clients across the UK. No two projects are the same here, and that variety is something our team genuinely values.<br>If you are not yet chartered, we will fully support your journey towards it. A commitment to achieving chartership is something we take seriously, and we will back you every step of the way.<br>YOUR IMPACT<br>This is a role where your knowledge translates directly into outcomes that matter. You will lead and deliver hydrogeological work across a range of project types, communicating findings clearly to clients who rely on your judgement. You will also play an important part in developing the next generation of hydrogeologists, sharing what you know with junior colleagues and learning in turn from some of the most experienced practitioners in the business.<br>Your work may span field-based monitoring and sampling, drilling supervision, pumping test design and analysis, data analytics and numerical groundwater modelling, or geochemical and hydrochemical analysis. Whichever of these areas is your strength, there is room to deepen them and plenty of opportunity to broaden them.<br>ABOUT YOU<br>You will hold a Hydrogeology MSc, a relevant PhD, or bring considerable post-graduate experience delivering hydrogeology projects in practice. You are comfortable navigating the regulatory, business and policy environment that shapes your clients' world, and you communicate with them confidently and clearly.<br>Beyond the technical, you bring professionalism, strong time management, and a flexible attitude that suit a busy, collaborative team. You produce high-quality written and oral work, manage data carefully and approach quantitative analysis with rigour.
