Sales Engineer, Western US

In this role, you’ll work closely with Account Executives and internal stakeholders to support the full sales cycle. You will help uncover customer challenges, shape thoughtful solutions, and translate complex technical concepts into clear, outcome‑driven value. As a trusted technical advisor, you’ll partner with customers and teammates alike to design, position, and demonstrate enterprise‑grade solutions that solve real business problems and move opportunities forward.</span> <p><br></p> <p><span><span style="font-weight: bold">Work Locations:</span> </span></p> <p><span>This is a remote position based in the western half of the United States. This position must live and be authorized to work in the United States; it is not eligible for relocation or sponsorship.</span></p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Hours:</span></p> <span style="font-size: 12pt">This role generally follows standard business hours, typically between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Time, with flexibility to support customer and business needs.</span> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Travel:</span></p> <p>Approximately 25% of the time annually.  </p> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">What You Will Do:</span></p> <ul> <li>Partner with our Enterprise sales team throughout the full sales cycle, from discovery through close.</li> <li>Act as a technical subject matter expert during customer meetings, presentations, and solution discussions.</li> <li>Lead technical discovery to understand customer requirements, infrastructure, and business objectives.</li> <li>Design and propose solutions that align customer needs with our enterprise offerings.</li> <li>Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution overviews to varied stakeholder groups.</li> <li>Liaise with sales to respond to technical questions, RFPs, and security or architecture reviews as needed. </li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, implementation) to validate solution feasibility.</li> <li>Support proof-of-concept efforts and pre-sales validation when required.</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">What You Will Need:</span></p> <ul> <li>At least 3 years of experience in a customer facing, technical pre-sales position. </li> <li>Strong understanding of enterprise telecommunications technology solutions and complex sales environments; SME with SIP, VoIP, UCaaS, CCaaS, etc.</li> <li>Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-oriented messaging for a variety of stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience working directly with sales teams in a client-facing capacity.</li> <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.</li> <li>Comfort engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <p><br></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Who We Are:</span></p> <p>BCM One is a leading telecom provider of NextGen Communications and Managed Services that has been in business for 30 years with more than 18,000 business customers and 5,000 channel partners who rely on our products, services, and teams to support their critical underlying network infrastructure.
