Remote Event Coordinator, Special Projects

Our client, a prominent organization within the leisure sector, is actively seeking a creative and detail-oriented Remote Event Coordinator to manage and execute special projects and virtual events. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within the US. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning, from concept development and budgeting to vendor management and post-event analysis. The ideal candidate has a flair for organization, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of virtual and hybrid events, including conferences, workshops, and promotional activities. Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines. Source and manage relationships with external vendors, including platform providers, speakers, and marketing agencies. Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive event attendance and engagement. Oversee the technical aspects of virtual events, ensuring seamless delivery and participant experience. Coordinate speaker management, including scheduling, briefing, and technical checks. Collect and analyze event data, providing comprehensive post-event reports on key metrics and feedback. Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including participants, sponsors, and internal teams. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks or challenges associated with event execution. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, with a strong emphasis on virtual or hybrid events. Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from conception to completion. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling event messaging. Proficiency in virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom Events, Hopin, Cvent) and project management tools. Experience with budget management and financial reporting. Creative thinking and a passion for delivering memorable experiences. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
