With 12,000+ graduates at 2,500 companies, we empower learners and leaders across industries to propel their careers and make an impact through tech.<br><br>SUMMARY: We are looking for an experienced and passionate leader to create a great working experience for our staff and to truly change the lives of our students in our Software Engineering Immersive program.<br><br>The Program Lead is responsible for providing high-quality service to our students and instructors under our Government department and facilitating communication and collaboration between various departments and the campus. They watch over their class of students and work with other staff to ensure on a day-to-day basis that everyone is learning rapidly and is on track for success. When a student gets a job after the program, such core teaching staff are those they thank with the deepest emotion.<p></p><p><b><span>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</span></b><b>:  </b> Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.</p><ul><li>Guide Instructors and Cohort Leads as they directly work with and support students as they develop the skills necessary for a successful job search and career in the software industry</li><li>Build classroom culture and community while coaching successful behaviors</li><li>Ensure exceptional relationship management with our government clients and stakeholders</li><li>Ensure student expectations are accurate, build positivity, and guide students in recognizing challenges / bumps as opportunities for growth</li><li>Work with Cohort Leads and Instructors to correctly identify and mitigate individual- and class-wide risk-factors; handle difficult issues such as impostor syndrome, group conflicts, and truancy</li><li>Maintain accurate, deep, real-time data on student technical and non-technical performance, working with other members of the instruction team as required</li><li>Deliver (often difficult) feedback to students that improve outcomes and result in positive sentiment</li><li>Support staff responses to concerns about student progress; collaboratively craft and implement developmentally appropriate and effective remedial solutions</li><li>Be the “face” of, and serve as the primary point-of-contact for your cohort, collaborating with multiple cross-functional departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth cohort operations</li><li>Clearly communicate, coach, and hold instructional staff accountable to program delivery approaches, best practices, positive student sentiment, strong academic results, and successful job placement</li><li>Serve as support and safety net for the instructional team and elevate issues appropriately</li><li>Identify staffing needs, adjusting when appropriate to reflect student enrollment and program needs</li><li>Serve as the primary hiring manager, interviewing and evaluating candidates and facilitating the training and onboarding of new staff</li><li>Manage schedules and timecards of hourly staff</li><li>Collaborate with Regulatory to manage state regulatory requirements at the local level</li></ul><p></p><p><b>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: </b>Directly supervises up to 10 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. An individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors which include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
