How will you contribute?

Strategic Merchandising & Commercial Leadership

  • Define and execute a comprehensive merchandising strategy that aligns with overarching business objectives while supporting sustained growth across Retail and Wholesale channels.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, guiding the team to respond with agility to sales performance, market dynamics, and inventory opportunities.
  • Lead seasonal buying and assortment planning with disciplined oversight of OTB management, allocation strategies, store clustering, and in-season optimization.
  • Drive a holistic, client-centric product vision that balances brand integrity, creativity, and commercial performance.
  • Monitor and interpret industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving consumer behavior to identify risks and unlock incremental growth opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership, translating complex performance insights into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Retail leadership to ensure local market needs are reflected through assortments, in-store initiatives, and a maximized retail calendar that drives loyalty and conversion.
Wholesale Strategy & Account Leadership
  • Develop and lead the Wholesale merchandising and commercial strategy in alignment with brand vision and global objectives.
  • Partner with Wholesale Account teams to drive optimized assortments, distribution strategies, and seasonal business plans tailored to key partners.
  • Oversee wholesale sell-in, sell-through, and inventory health, ensuring disciplined execution and profitable growth.
  • Support and elevate brand presentation and product storytelling across all wholesale environments, safeguarding consistency and brand integrity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure pricing, margin, and assortment strategies support long-term wholesale expansion and profitability.
  • Establish a strong feedback loop with HQ Wholesale and Merchandising counterparts, to inform Design on future product development and market opportunities.
Visual Merchandising
  • Collaborate closely with Visual Merchandising to translate merchandising strategies into compelling, elevated product presentations across Retail and Wholesale.
  • Provide clear buying direction, product priorities, and commercial insights to support seasonal floor sets, launches, and key storytelling moments.
  • Maintain continuous communication to refine visual strategies in response to performance metrics, regional needs, and evolving commercial priorities.
  • Share structured performance feedback to ensure VM execution consistently drives engagement and conversion.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing Merchandising and Wholesale team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Serve as a strong connector between HQ and regional market, advocating for local insights and opportunities while ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Partner with HQ and local team to develop product knowledge, seasonal messaging, and collection storytelling.
  • Proactively coach and develop talent through performance management, succession planning, and continuous skill-building.
  • Model executive presence and cross-functional partnership to elevate organizational effectiveness.
Financial & Budget Management
  • Own and optimize the Open-to-Buy process, ensuring financial discipline while maximizing commercial upside.
  • Develop, manage, and forecast budgets across Retail and Wholesale, driving efficient resource allocation and measurable ROI.
  • Partner with Finance to align forecasts, inventory strategies, and business performance against targets.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 12+ years of progressive merchandising and buying experience within a comparable fashion and/or luxury environment, including significant leadership exposure across both Retail and Wholesale channels. Demonstrated depth of experience managing Wholesale assortments, sell-in/sell-through cycles, and inventory strategies.
  • Proven expertise in the U.S. wholesale landscape, including strong knowledge of key luxury and premium department store partners, specialty retailers, and evolving distribution models, with a track record of driving profitable growth through strategic account planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing merchandising teams while building incremental, multi-channel businesses through disciplined assortment, pricing, and lifecycle management.
  • Deep understanding of the luxury Ready-to-Wear market, global fashion trends, and high-end consumer behavior, with the ability to translate market insight into commercially impactful strategies across direct and indirect channels.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and commercial acumen, including experience managing OTB, margins, and inventory health across both Retail and Wholesale, paired with an elevated product sensibility and refined taste level.
  • Exceptional leadership and influence skills, with credibility engaging senior leadership, cross-functional partners, and external wholesale accounts.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance brand stewardship with commercial rigor, translating vision into execution and measurable results.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.


Salary Range: $200,000 - $230,000 per year
