<h1><strong>Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer</strong></h1><p><h2><strong>Job Description</strong></h2><p>We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team. This role involves reviewing torque traces, understanding fastening and programming terminology, and ensuring station information correlates to released specifications for both Repair Carts and Production. You will be responsible for managing programming changes, establishing effective angle monitoring limits, and identifying and driving the resolution of manufacturing-related issues.<p><h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Review torque traces and understand fastening and programming terminology.</li><li>Program DC tool controllers as per plant requirements.</li><li>Ensure station information correlates to released specifications for Repair Carts and Production.</li><li>Manage all programming changes in DC tool controllers for Production and Repair Carts.</li><li>Establish effective angle monitoring limits to detect Quality issues.</li><li>Review results of Repair Carts and compare to Error Proofing report.</li><li>Run fault reports and review highest hitters affecting Production.</li><li>Identify and drive resolution of manufacturing-related issues.</li><li>Prepare and lead presentations for management in Daily Quality Meetings.</li><li>Support requests for information regarding torque tools, DC tool programming, torque traces, and cycle data.</li><li>Maintain correct programming and setup in DC tool controllers during station relocation and rebalance.</li><li>Maintain correct programming and setup in Repair Carts during station relocation and rebalance.</li><li>Ensure systems are set up to report programming changes.</li></ul><h2><strong>Essential Skills</strong></h2><ul><li>Quality engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing facility.</li><li>Project management experience.</li><li>Proficiency with torque tools and torque specifications.</li><li>Experience utilizing data analysis to solve problems.</li><li>Experience exporting and importing data between systems.</li><li>Providing direct engineering support in a production environment.</li><li>Implementing quality standards.</li></ul><h2><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>Experience with Stanley and similar tools.</li><li>Familiarity with data analysis tools such as ToolsNet.</li></ul><h2><strong>Work Environment</strong></h2><p>The role requires working on-site every day at the assigned plant. You will report directly to the plant for daily direction while representing VME in tracking and implementing quality metrics.
