Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a coastal community hospital along Florida’s Emerald Coast in Miramar Beach.

This assignment offers CRNAs the opportunity to practice within a collaborative anesthesia care team model supporting operating rooms, obstetrics, and procedural anesthesia services in a well-resourced surgical program serving the greater Destin and Emerald Coast communities.

CRNAs provide anesthesia services within a supervised care team model alongside anesthesiologists.

  • Annual surgical volume includes:
    • 6,500+ outpatient surgeries
    • 2,000+ inpatient surgeries

Clinical Case Mix

CRNAs support a diverse surgical program including:

  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics and Total Joints
  • Endoscopy
  • ENT
  • GYN
  • Interventional Radiology

  • Additional exposure includes:
  • Obstetric anesthesia (~1,100 deliveries annually)

Scheduling Structure

Typical coverage includes:

  • Day Coverage
    • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
  • Extended OR Coverage
    • 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    • 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Night Coverage
    • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM backup call
  • Weekend Coverage
    • Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM backup call
Candidate Requirements
  • NBCRNA Certified
  • Active Florida License
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • Experience within a care team anesthesia model preferred
  • Comfort supporting obstetric anesthesia cases preferred
