Local Government Account Executive - Northeast US

<p></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p></p><p>We are seeking a relationship-driven Account Executive to join our successful sales team and own, retain, and expand existing accounts within the Local Government market in New York City. This role is focused on deepening long-term partnerships, maximizing customer value, and driving sustainable revenue growth across an established customer base.</p><p></p><p>In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to local government customers, helping them fully leverage Cyclomedia’s street-level imagery, LiDAR, and asset extraction solutions across their workflows and long-term planning objectives. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer success, adoption, and expansion aligned with budget cycles and evolving needs.</p><p></p><p>This is a remote position, with the ideal candidate based in <span>Northeast (NYC, Boston, Philadelphia) and surrounding areas.</span></p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Own and grow a portfolio of existing Local Government customers, driving renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities to expand usage of Cyclomedia solutions across departments, use cases, and multi-year programs.</p></li><li><p>Clearly articulate and reinforce Cyclomedia’s value proposition across imagery, software, and solutions throughout the customer lifecycle.</p></li><li><p>Develop account plans that align customer goals, workflows, and budget cycles with Cyclomedia’s offerings.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a healthy pipeline focused on account expansion, renewals, and strategic growth, rather than high-volume prospecting.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate a strong understanding of local government procurement processes, budgeting timelines, and contract structures.</p></li><li><p>Partner closely with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.</p></li><li><p>Accurately manage opportunities, forecasts, and account activity using CRM tools and sales resources.</p></li><li><p>Represent Cyclomedia at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, webinars, and targeted account engagements.</p></li><li><p>Stay current on industry trends, customer challenges, and emerging use cases to proactively bring new ideas to existing customers.</p></li><li><p>Take initiative and think creatively to unlock additional value and revenue within current accounts.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p></p><br><ul><li><p><strong>5+ years of sales experience</strong> in GIS, imagery, or related technology solutions, with a strong focus on <strong>Local Government customers</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with or selling into <strong>tax assessment, public works, or similar municipal functions</strong> is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through proposal development and close.</p></li><li><p>Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills, including effective listening and customer qualification.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Highly organized, with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.</p></li><li><p>A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and passion for growing a business.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Working at Cyclomedia comes with more than just meaningful work.
