THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Analyst, Wet Chemicals is a subject matter expert responsible for producing high-quality market intelligence and critical materials reports within their designated specialty area. This role centers on deep expertise in wet chemicals and specialty cleans as they apply to front-end (FE) and/or back-end (BE) semiconductor manufacturing processes, with knowledge of CMP slurries or pads considered a strong asset.

The Senior Analyst owns primary content production and leads related research projects end-to-end, applying both direct expertise and an active professional network to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful analysis. They are expected to develop and stabilize analytical models, mentor junior analysts, and continuously enhance research practices — including integrating methodologies brought in through acquisitions.

This role requires strong engagement across internal stakeholders, product management, and customers, as well as external visibility through conference participation and customer meetings. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in market research, a working knowledge of the semiconductor materials ecosystem and supply chain, and the initiative to identify and develop new ideas that strengthen existing product offerings.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead content production and expert analysis for Critical Materials Reports, with specific focus on wet chemicals and specialty cleans within FE and/or BE semiconductor manufacturing processes; knowledge of CMP slurries or pads a plus
  • Serve as principal analyst on research projects, developing and stabilizing analytical models for transition to junior analysts
  • Deliver high-quality content on schedule while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance and expand product offerings
  • Mentor and coach team members to support their professional growth
  • Maintain and grow an active professional network to stay current in your specialty area
  • Engage with stakeholders from acquired businesses and contribute to a collaborative, integrated team environment
  • Develop a deep understanding of current and emerging application trends across the semiconductor materials ecosystem, with focus on the supply chain
  • Support product management and customer engagement to address inquiries from new and existing clients
  • Represent TechInsights externally through conference participation and customer meetings to maintain market knowledge and support sales efforts

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5-10 years of industry experience in wet chemicals and specialty cleans within FE and/or BE semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of CMP slurries or pads a plus
  • Established professional network within the semiconductor materials space
  • Solid foundation in market research practices, including the ability to develop, improve, and integrate new research methodologies
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, exercising sound judgment across complex, multi-source analytical challenges
  • Demonstrated expertise in wet chemicals and specialty cleans, with working knowledge of adjacent materials areas and how they integrate within the broader semiconductor ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability to apply best practices and awareness of competitive dynamics to continuously improve products and deliverables
  • Ability to communicate complex, technical, and sensitive information clearly and effectively; demonstrated success building consensus across stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and act as a resource for team members; ability to lead projects with confidence
