We work closely with owners, architects and the entire planning team well before ground is broken; providing cost analyses, scheduling information, and value engineering services to ensure that our client can make informed decisions leading to a timely finish of the highest quality and the best value.<br><br><strong>Summary<br><br></strong>This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing various data for greater management insight.<br><br><strong>Essential Duties And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong> Financial Analysis and Reporting <br><br></strong><ul><li>Prepares and presents reports on various financial results and projections. </li><li>Assists with the annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting processes. </li><li>Analyzes the financial performance of Kraus-Anderson’s (KA) insurance and warranty programs and identifies opportunities, trends, and anomalies.</li><li>Identifies and updates detailed projections to analytical approaches, including per headcount, per automobile, etc.</li><li>Helps organize and maintain financial data in various systems.</li><li>Forecast cash flow on both project and company levels as needed.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong> Financial Risk Management <br><br></strong><ul><li>Performs prequalification process for subcontractors, including developing custom approaches to mitigate risk. </li><li>Assists in the management of KA’s subcontractor default insurance program.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong> Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Support <br><br></strong><ul><li>Assists in the review and maintenance of KPI dashboards and organizational goal / metric tracking.</li><li>Analyzes output from KPI dashboards and presents findings to the relevant stakeholders as necessary.</li><li>Works collaboratively with other departments in the development of new metrics where appropriate.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Other Duties<br><br></strong><ul><li>Participates in the budgeting and forecasting of labor productivity with intent to enhance existing process.</li><li>Helps perform Return on Investment (ROI) for capital expenditures and other ad hoc analysis.</li><li>Performs analysis on new and existing projects to ensure compliance with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from four-year college/university or equivalent combination of education</li><li>Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) and knowledge of general accounting software</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service</li><li>Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals</li><li>Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures</li><li>Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others</li><li>Ability to balance multiple competing priorities while maintaining high quality results</li><li>Displays original thinking and creativity</li><li>Meets challenges with resourcefulness and develops suggestions for continuous improvement</li><li>Inspires and motivates self and team to perform well<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>3-5 years related work experience</li><li>Experience with Prophix or other financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software is preferred</li><li>Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence, dashboarding, and KPI reporting tools is preferred.</li><li>Experience in the construction industry<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Demands<br><br></strong>The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by any employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
