As a key driver of performance, this role requires a seasoned marketing professional with proven success leading cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes across levels.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Job Duties & Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Regional Marketing - DICK'S </b></p><ul><li><p>Own the development and execution of localized marketing strategies to achieve regional business goals and resonate with the local community.</p></li><li><p>Bring the DICK’S brand to life in key sports moments through local activations.</p></li><li><p>Deliver actionable market intelligence to inform campaign inputs such as audience segmentation, messaging strategies, and media plans.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and analyze competitive activity and activate proactive and defensive strategies that expand market share and sustain brand leadership.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with GO marketing team to craft locally resonate strategies & tactics that drive traffic to the new store openings. Strategically guide event planning, experiential activations, and brand-led experiences that position House of Sport  DICK’s Sporting Goods as a retail destination and community hub</p></li><li><p>Serve as the regional bridge between national marketing team and store teams, ensuring seamless communication and local adaptation.</p></li><li><p>Oversee local media strategies to amplify local brand storytelling and drive meaningful traffic to these high-priority stores.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Partnership Development</b></p><ul><li><p>Build and maintain strong strategic relationships across local youth, high-school, and collegiate sports organizations to drive brand loyalty and revenue.</p></li><li><p>Leverage proprietary assets (such as GameChanger, Sideline Swap, In-Store Services, assortment, promotions) to create differentiated experiences, enhance athlete value propositions, and deepen community ties.</p></li><li><p>Activate national partnerships locally, amplifying brand presence through tailored community experiences and grassroot efforts.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Donations and Giving</b></p><ul><li><p>Manage tiered giving program within territory.</p></li><li><p>Serve as local representative for DICK’S Foundation by nominating leagues, teams and organizations in need of Foundation grants and distributing the grant upon approval</p></li><li><p>Support local grant giving and execution through regional grant giving budget.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Organizational Process Execution</b></p><ul><li><p>Champion operational excellence across partner and vendor relationships, events, and programs. Be the face of our brand in your local community.</p></li><li><p>Manage Field Marketing Budget for designated markets and optimize for ROI, efficiency, and innovation.</p></li><li><p>Serve as a media-trained brand spokesperson for local press opportunities and brand-led storytelling.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Cross-functional Leadership</b></p><ul><li><p>Serve as a member of the district cross‑functional leadership team, bringing marketing expertise while also contributing to conversations and decision‑making across all areas of the business. This role requires broad thinking and active support of district‑wide priorities beyond marketing.  Attend and participate in standard operating rhythms, stores visits, and meetings.</p></li><li><p><b>Lead assigned Areas of Responsibility (AORs)</b> across priority field marketing initiatives, partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders and peer teams to drive aligned planning, execution, and results.</p></li><li><p><b>Championing the Loyalty program in stores and local communities</b>, helping teams understand and embrace the program.  Promote the program and benefits through local channels.</p></li></ul><div></div><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree</p></li><li><p>4-year college degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or Communications</p></li><li><p>5-7 years of experience with 3-5 years of related experience as a regional or company merchandise or marketing professional in a retail or multi-unit environment.</p></li><li><p>Possess a valid driver’s license</p></li><li><p>Successfully pass comprehensive criminal background and motor vehicle checks</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal and team building skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p>Flexible availability in work schedule including some nights, weekends and holidays.
