Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Entry Level Data Entry Specialists. This position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data across various systems and platforms to ensure data integrity and support our core business operations. No prior experience is necessary—just a commitment to excellence and the willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update data in databases and company systems.

  • Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct any discrepancies.

  • Maintain data integrity by following standard operating procedures.

  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.

  • Retrieve and process information as requested by team members and management.

  • Communicate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

  • Organize and maintain electronic files and documents.

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 40 WPM preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Comfortable handling repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

Experience

  • No prior data entry experience required.

  • Previous administrative or clerical work is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Comprehensive training will be provided.

Working Hours

  • Flexible schedule available: Full-time and part-time positions.

  • Monday to Friday, with optional weekend availability.

  • Shifts available between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (based on your time zone).
