As an ENP, you will work autonomously and collaboratively across the UTC, Emergency Department, and wider hospital services, managing a diverse caseload of patients presenting with urgent and emergency needs.<br>You should be a registered healthcare professional (NMC/HCPC) with advanced clinical skills, able to assess, diagnose, and manage patients confidently while contributing to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.<br>What We Offer:<br>Flexible Working Options : Work remotely or on-site, with opportunities for face-to-face assessments, home visits, or telephone triage.<br>Career Development : Regular clinical audits, feedback, and educational sessions, including peer support forums and monthly topical events.<br>Supportive Environment : Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Shift Managers, Drivers, and Call Handlers, with support always available.<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>Carry out comprehensive history-taking, clinical examinations, and initial patient assessments in the UTC.<br>Confirming the appropriateness of patients streamed into the UTC by ED<br>Diagnose and manage patients with undifferentiated urgent and emergency conditions, including paediatrics.<br>Order, interpret, and act on X-rays, initiate treatment, and discharge or refer patients appropriately.<br>Provide high-quality wound care, suturing, and medication administration, including prescribing if qualified.<br>Use advanced reasoning to create safe, patient-centred management plans with safety-netting advice.<br>Work flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues across the Emergency Department and community care pathways.<br>Support and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to guidelines, protocols, and service improvement.<br>Person Specification:<br>Essential:<br>Current NMC/HCPC registration.<br>Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Practice (Level 7 or working towards).<br>Competence in diagnostic reasoning, X-ray interpretation, wound management, and clinical decision-making.<br>Minimum 1-year ENP/ACP/NP experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.<br>Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work under pressure.<br>Desirable:<br>Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.<br>Experience in paediatrics , including children under 2 years.<br>Leadership or service improvement training.<br>Evidence of mentoring or teaching.<br>#J-18808-Ljbffr Salary: GBP 74000 - 96000 per year Experience: 1 years required
