LEGO Group is seeking an experienced EHS Technician with expertise in electrical safety, specifically in solar panel installations, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment on our exciting construction projects.

Job Description:

  • Be the Safety Champion: Serve as the key liaison between LEGO Group and our General Contractor’s Safety Team, ensuring daily activities and high-risk tasks related to solar panels are monitored effectively.
  • Lead the Charge: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to spot potential hazards, with a particular emphasis on electrical safety in solar panel installations, ensuring swift corrective actions.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Engage in weekly safety meetings with general contractors and subcontractors to foster a culture of safety, prioritizing electrical safety protocols for solar panels.
  • Track & Report: Maintain records on Key Process Indicators, including solar panel safety metrics, and keep associated reports updated.
  • Train & Empower: Ensure LEGO Construction personnel complete necessary safety trainings, including solar panel electrical safety, and adhere to all regulations.
  • Coordinate Efforts: Work closely with construction managers, contractors, and subcontractors to integrate solar panel safety considerations into project plans.
  • Innovate & Improve: Implement and enhance EHS procedures to reduce accident rates at our construction and production facilities, with a focus on solar panel electrical hazards.
  • Analyze & Act: Review EHS metrics monthly to initiate improvements and drive positive change, especially in solar panel safety.
  • Educate & Mentor: Promote a behavior-based safety culture through training and mentorship, emphasizing solar panel electrical safety.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A combined 5-7 years in both industrial and commercial construction or subcontractor EHS, with specific expertise in solar panel electrical safety as a “nice to have.”
  • Certifications: Must have OSHA 30 in construction.
  • Proactive Approach: Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
  • Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations, ISO management systems, and solar panel electrical safety standards.
  • Proven Skills: Experience in developing and implementing effective EHS programs and risk analysis methodologies, focusing on solar panel electrical safety.
  • Passion: A commitment to creating safer work environments and the ability to lead EHS initiatives, particularly in solar panel safety.

Pay:

  • Hours: 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday
  • Pay: $35.65/hour

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $35.65 - $35.65 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
