Willow Health is on a mission to significantly improve this experience by expanding affordable access to high-quality, evidence-based intensive behavioral health care. </p> <p> </p> <p>In order to make this mission a reality, we are built a virtual crisis care program that provides personalized, recovery-oriented care for people experiencing behavioral health crises. Willow Health offers patients immediate access to evidence-based virtual crisis psychotherapy, medication management, certified peer coaching, care management, and around the clock  crisis coverage, while working to connect patients to the most appropriate next level of care.</p> <p></p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>Your Role</b><div><span style="font-size: 11pt;">As a crisis behavioral health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide telehealth evidence-based behavioral health care including comprehensive clinical assessments, differential diagnosis, creating and implementing co-created clinical treatment plans and medication management. You will work alongside our diverse and passionate multidisciplinary clinical team taking care of Willow Health’s patients and making an impact in our clinical program. Our clinical team includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, licensed mental health clinicians, certified peer specialists, case managers, and clinical operations. We are looking for a thoughtful, empathic, and skilled clinician to join our highly motivated team to help improve behavioral health crisis care. </span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt;">This is a fully virtual role.</span></div><p><br></p><b>Day-to-day Responsibilities</b><div> <ul> <li>Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop differential diagnosis</li> <li>Provide psychiatric medication management </li> <li>Build therapeutic alliance with patients</li> <li>Create and implement co-created personalized treatment plans with our multidisciplinary team </li> <li>Manage a caseload of patients who you will follow for 8 to 12 weeks providing medication management </li> <li>Conduct comprehensive risk assessment and safety planning </li> <li>Utilize validated clinical tools to aid in differential diagnosis </li> <li>Work across our multidisciplinary clinical team to facilitate comprehensive behavioral health crisis care </li> <li>Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings </li> <li>Maintain appropriate documentation of all patient-related care</li> <li>Engage with clinical supervision </li> <li>Daytime and night time / weekend call</li> <li>Work with our patients, their families, and their providers in the community to ensure comprehensive behavioral health care</li> </ul> <div> </div> <div>Working hours for the clinic are Monday - Friday from 10:30am to 7:30pm, Eastern time.</div> </div><p><br></p><b>Requirements for the Role</b><div> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (or equivalent non-U.S. degree) </li> <li>Board Certification</li> <li>Master of Science in Nursing degree or a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (or equivalent non-U.S. degree)</li> <li>Hold an active license to practice in New York</li> <li>Maintain all state requirements and continuing education requirements to provide behavioral health care </li> <li>Has experience with clinical assessments, developing differential diagnosis, creating and implementing clinical treatment plans, and psychiatric medication management  </li> <li>Has at least 2 years of clinical experience of psychiatric medication management </li> <li>Has experience with clinical risk management, suicide risk assessment, and safety planning</li> <li>Has experience and is comfortable with using validated clinical tools to help enhance clinical care </li> <li>Has experience with and is comfortable with using technology</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team</li> <li>Experience working with an electronic medical record</li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Nice to have</b><div> <ul> <li>Post degree experience in providing emergency mental health services and/or urgent behavioral healthcare</li> <li>Completed Psychiatric fellowship</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of substance abuse, mental health, and recovery issues and principles</li> <li>Has experience with using clinical outcomes to help enhance clinical care </li> <li>Has experience launching and iterating on a clinical care model, (preferred, not required)  </li> <li>Experience in a start-up healthcare setting and/or an innovative healthcare program (preferred, not required)  </li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Benefits for our Clinicians</b><div> <ul> <li>PTO includes sick leave, certain federal holidays, and vacation </li> <li>Continuing education time and stipend </li> <li>401K </li> <li>Health insurance </li> <li>Malpractice liability insurance </li> <li>Clinical supervision </li> <li>Multidisciplinary team collaboration </li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Our Interview Process</b><div> <div><strong style="font-size: 11pt;">Our Interview Process: </strong></div> <div> </div> <div><span style="font-size: 11pt;">1.
