This role ensures optimal financial performance, regulatory compliance, and seamless patient financial experience. The position works closely with Revenue Cycle Director, and finance teams to improve processes and maximize revenue.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span><span>Essential Functions:</span></span></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Assist in supervising and directing Business Office and end-to-end Revenue Cycle operations across all ClearSky entities, including inpatient services and hospital billing/collections</li><li>This is a working manager position that will be responsible for the billing and collections process of 1 or more hospitals</li><li>Oversee front-end and back-end RCM functions, including admission accuracy, authorization processes, charge capture, claims submission, and denial management</li><li>Ensure timely filing and effective insurance and patient follow-up while monitoring billing, cash accounting, and overall reimbursement processes</li><li>Manage billing, claims, and work queues for accuracy and completeness; follow up on pending claims and support denial resolution and appeals</li><li>Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including days in A/R, denial rates, and collection percentages, to drive performance improvements</li><li>Lead, train, and supervise revenue cycle staff, including A/R follow-up, contractual posting accuracy, and daily operational support</li><li>Support employee performance management, providing coaching and recommendations for development and improvement</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and revenue capture</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures</li><li>Support development and maintenance of RCM policies, reporting, and staff training programs</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>​​Minimum Job Requirements</span></b></p><p><span><i>Minimum Education & Experience</i></span></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent required</li><li>5+ years of experience in hospital revenue cycle management required</li><li>2+ Proven leadership and team supervision experience required</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical billing, and reimbursement methodologies required</li><li>Experience with in-patient Rehabilitation Hospital billing preferred</li><li>Experience with hospital billing systems and electronic health records (EHR)</li><li>Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance processes required</li></ul><p>​</p><p></p><p><b><i>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</i></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Knowledge in CMS hospital regulation and reimbursement.</li><li>Knowledge of payer types in the healthcare industry.</li><li>Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and records management.</li><li>Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills and communication.</li><li>Demonstrates effective conflict resolution in customer service.</li><li>Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks.</li><li>Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.</li><li>Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.</li><li>Ability to work closely and professionally with others at all levels of the organization.</li><li>Effective organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li><li></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Requirements over the course of a shift</b></p><ul><li>A significant amount of sitting, often for prolonged periods of time</li><li>Both gross and precise motor functions</li><li>Lifting/exerting of up to 10 lbs</li><li>Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard</li><li>Close vision and the ability to adjust focus</li><li>Ability to hear overhead pages.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>
